This car was owned by Herbert Wiepert of Council Bluffs, IA by early 1977. He never restored the car. Alan Whelihan purchased the car at auction from Mr. Wiepert’s estate in 1998. Alan completed the restoration of the car in 2019. He entered it in the CCCA Summer Grand Classic Primary Division at Ellicott City, MD in July 2019 where it won a first place award with a total score of 99.5. The car’s Senior Badge Number is 3343. Alan sold the car to the current owner in 2021.
