Mountain South Corp, a mortgage originator in Redwood City, CA owned the car from about 1984 to 1990. MSC was controlled by Van. K. Zannis. MSC and its parent company, a Savings & Loan Company, were taken over by the U.S Government in 1990, when the S&L failed. The car was sold at auction in 1990, by the Resolution Trust Company:
