The Car’s Story:
This car is the second Lincoln-Zephyr Continental prototype (one of two) and was completed on October 10, 1939. If it had a Body Number Tag (it doesn t, car #3 was the first with a tag) it would read 06H-56-2.
The car was shipped to Chicago for the Auto Show that ran from Nov 4 – 12, 1939. It was the star attraction for “New Model Salons” in St. Louis, Kansas City, Tulsa, and the West Coast through April 1940.
