From the January 9, 1940 edition of the Norfolk Ledger identifying H.B. Goodridge as the owner of the car on display at Seaboard Motor Company, the local Lincoln-Zephyr dealer. Only one car had been shipped through the Norfolk, VA Ford Sales Branch by this date, Body Number 06H-56-017.

A Sale Listing in the Norfolk Ledger on August 7, 1953, one year after Mr. Goodridge’s passing. Only four 1940 Cabriolets were sold through Ford’s Sales Branch at Norfolk, VA. Only one was black with red leather. The second black car had green leather. Joseph Conners is first listed as the owner of the car in LCOC membership list in January, 1954. This sale listing must be for 06H-56-017.
